Limb Amputation
The loss of part or all of a limb is a life-changing experience. It can happen for several reasons, including road traffic accidents, accidents at work or military action, or a wide range of medical reasons, such as birth defects, cancer or circulation problems.
If an accident or medical negligence caused the amputation, you or a member of your family might start to think about compensation. Even if you aren’t certain whether you have a case, it’s vital to get advice, because a compensation award could make a big difference to your life in future.

Partial or total paralysis
Paralysis can result in the loss of use of one, two or all four limbs. It could also mean partial paralysation or total loss of use on one or both sides of the body. The ramifications of this are tremendous, both for the paralysed individual and for their family. If you or a loved one have been left paralysed following an accident or incident caused by negligence, you may be eligible to make a paralysis claim for compensation.
While no amount of compensation will return things to how they were before the injury, it could make life a little easier and help you cope with the financial pressure paralysis injuries can cause.

PTSD
If your PTSD was caused by an accident that wasn’t your fault or the negligence, or breach of care of another party, then you may be eligible to make a PTSD claim. PTSD claims are frequently brought following car accidents, assaults in the workplace, medical negligence, workplace accidents or military injuries.

Chronic Pain Syndrome
If you are suffering from fibromyalgia, CRPS, or any chronic pain condition as a result of an accident that was not your fault then you may be entitled to compensation.

Loss of sight, hearing, taste, smell

Motorbike Accident
Motorcyclists can be vulnerable and exposed to injury on the roads and can be left with serious injuries if they are involved in a road collision. Although many riders are skilled in their driving and hopefully well protected with the right riding gear, this cannot prevent all injuries.
Unfortunately, if you have sustained any type of loss from a Road Traffic Accident that wasn’t your fault, you could be entitled to compensation.

Serious injury caused at work
You may be able to make an accident at work claim if you’ve been injured as a result of health and safety procedures not being followed. In some instances, you may even be able to claim if you caused the accident, for instance if your injuries were made worse because of a piece of faulty equipment.
It may also be possible to claim if a workplace accident made an existing injury or condition worse.

Pedestrian RTA
Any pedestrian has the legal right to claim for compensation if they were injured in a road traffic accident that was due to another person’s negligence. This could involve an accident with a car or being knocked over, or with a motorbike, cyclist, bus or lorry.
Our solicitors specialise in pedestrian accident claims and will look to recover financial compensation for your injuries, financial losses, and any psychological trauma suffered.
